How Do People Book a Call With You on LinkedIn?
If you’ve been in business for a while, chances are your booking link is scattered across old tools, forgotten landing pages, and an email signature you haven’t updated in months. Sound familiar?
One of the quickest wins you can make today is making sure your calendar link is visible — and clickable — in the right places on LinkedIn. Here’s exactly where to add it.
I have moved my booking link into HighLevel this morning and have now added it to FIVE places on my LinkedIn Profile.
Here are all the places to include your booking link on LinkedIn, starting with the free options.
Add your booking link to the Contact Info box
- . Your network can access this by clicking on the blue Contact Info on your Introductory card
You can add multiple website links – take note though, you can add several pages from your own website but they only show the main URL. So I could add www.louisebrogan.com/book but it would show up as www.louisebrogan.com and it looks a bit odd having three links to your website, even though they all go to different pages!
2. Add your appointment booking link to your Featured Section of your profile.
This one took a lot of effort, so persist with it!
I added a link – you need to add the full HTTPS:// link. Then add a title (it won’t let you add without one). Add your thumbnail image – very rarely this pulls through from your website. I have worked on this with literally hundreds of clients, it is never smooth. Please fix LinkedIn team.
Adding your link to the featured section
3. Your Banner Image/Background Photo
This. one is not a clickable link but you should still leverage it. I used Canva to add my url to my banner image
4. Add your booking link to your LinkedIn Experience Section
DId you know you can add links to your Experience section? I add YouTube links, conference links, blogs.. lots of different options. One easy win is to add your calendar booking link.
Add this to an existing role by clicking on the Add Media option at the bottom of the role. Simply add your URL and the graphic will show up on your profile.
Don’t do as I did, and accidentally notify your whole LinkedIn network that you have a new role, when you don’t. Ooops.
Premium Feature for Booking an Appointment
Updating my ‘book an appointment’ button.
This one is a Premium feature and one I like a lot because it accompanies your posts as well as being on your profile.
To edit this, click on the pencil at the top right hand side
There are multiple options to choose from including ‘Visit my website’
This will show on your posts, messages and search results so choose the right one for you.
So there are FIVE Places to add your calendar booking link for LinkedIn.
I use HighLevel for my calendar – you can get a free 30 day trial there using this link – www.gohighlevel.com/louise-brogan – highly worth investigating (and you can also use it as your CRM, email, scheduling tool…)
And of course, secret bonus tip for those of you who read the whole way through, another place to add your link is in your NEWSLETTER!
If you want to book a call with me to find out how to properly optimise your LInkedIn profile and make full use of this platform, here is the link – no penalties for adding this in your newsletter

FAQ
Can I add a booking link to LinkedIn for free?
Yes. There are four free places to add your booking link on LinkedIn: your Contact Info section, your Featured Section, your banner image, and your Experience section. The only paid option is the Book an Appointment button, which requires a LinkedIn Premium subscription.
What is the best place to add a booking link on LinkedIn?
The Featured Section is one of the most visible spots because it sits near the top of your profile. If you have LinkedIn Premium, the Book an Appointment button is even more powerful as it appears alongside your posts, in messages, and in search results.
Can I add a Calendly link to LinkedIn?
Yes. You can add any booking tool link — including Calendly, GoHighLevel, Acuity, or TidyCal — to your LinkedIn profile. Paste the full URL including https:// when adding it to your Featured Section or Contact Info.
Why isn’t my booking link showing as a clickable button on LinkedIn?
The clickable Book an Appointment button is a LinkedIn Premium feature. Free users can still add links in the Contact Info section and Featured Section, but these appear as links rather than buttons.
Does LinkedIn show my full booking link URL?
In the Contact Info section, LinkedIn only displays the root domain — so www.louisebrogan.com/book would show as www.louisebrogan.com. In the Featured Section, you can add a custom title and thumbnail image so visitors know exactly where the link goes.
How many links can I add to my LinkedIn profile?
You can add multiple links in the Contact Info section and the Featured Section. LinkedIn does not publish an exact limit, but best practice is to keep it focused — one clear booking link is more effective than several competing links.
Should I add my booking link to my LinkedIn newsletter?
Yes. Adding your booking link to every LinkedIn Newsletter issue is a simple way to convert engaged readers into enquiries. There is no restriction on including it, and newsletter subscribers are often your warmest audience.
